The service was nice. We were trying to send dog serum to a UK lab for the rabies titer test. The girl there didn't know if they could send or not, but she took our information and said will contact us later. Her manager did and gave us confirmation 3 working days later. Our experience in the DHL of Piura Per煤 was horrible and the woman there just said no with a grumpy face.

The service was very slow it takes around 30 minutes to mail documents! The employees don't seem to be that concerned about the customer. They spend alot of time on their cell phones while the wait drags on. Then when they do finally assist you , it made me feel like they were very annoyed having to assist me. Not people friendly at all.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I wanted to mail a prepaid envelope to the American Consulate in Guayaquil. The DHL clerk got on the phone, then told me I needed 2 sheets with the bar codes or he wouldn't accept the two prea膹dressed envelopes. It was the Consulate who informed me of the procedure for getting my correspondence from their office in Guayaquil and I was following their instructions TO THE LETTER!! I now have to pay my attorney to go to the Loja DHL office to try AGAIN to send the envelopes to the Consulate. Isn't DHL a document delivery service? Since when does the CLERK get to decide what documents are acceptable and can dictate the acceptable procedure for getting the documents to the destination? I am thoroughly disgusted with DHL!!!

Two times I sent my old phone from Australia to Mexico and returned. Then re sent it back to Ecuador. Same thing . Why DHL don鈥檛 advice customers on this custom regulations?? They just burns jet petroleum. And waste .
